Common questions

What kind of church is Westminster?

We are a Reformed Presbyterian church and a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Learn more about what we believe.

What is the worship service like?

We worship reverently and joyfully through prayer, singing, Bible reading, and preaching. Our music combines modern instrumentation with ancient Christian truth, including traditional hymns and modern praise songs.

Worship begins at 10:30 AM and lasts about 90 minutes. Read a recent worship bulletin or listen to a sermon to get a sense of our worship.

Watch a full worship service on our livestream page.

What should I wear?

Come as you are and dress in what feels comfortable. You are welcome here.

Can my children stay with me in worship?

Yes. Children are welcome to remain with their families throughout the service. Nursery care is available for ages 0–4, and children from age 5 through second grade may attend Children’s Worship during the sermon.

For children’s check-in, enter the front double doors and turn right in the lobby. The iPad sign-in is beside the nursery.

Can I take communion?

All believers in Jesus Christ who are members in good standing of a Gospel-preaching church are invited to join us in communion. Children and others who this does not describe are asked to abstain and consider the promises of the Gospel during this time. (1 Corinthians 11:27–29; Romans 10:9–10)

How can I get connected?

Join us for worship or Sunday School, explore a small group, or ask about the next membership class. Small groups welcome people who are still looking for a church home.

Contact the church office and we’ll help you find a next step.

Who can help with another question?

We’d love to help. Call 239-481-2125 or email office@wpcfortmyers.org. Our office is open Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
